Today my family is leaving for our annual summer vacation.
Last summer's weather was incredibly disappointing, as we spent most of the week wearing sweatshirts & jeans because it was so cold.
Let's hope this year is a little better
If past vacations are any indication, here's what we'll do next week

Grill out
Watch the boats come & go
Act silly
Play Tripoli
Wash countless dishes
Enjoy spectacular sunsets
Take naps
Explore downtown shops
Read
Eat ice cream
Watch fireworks
Get frustrated working on a difficult puzzle
Play cornhole
Say we're going to enjoy the fire pit, but never will
and
Take in the views
This year, we may also go to some
local vineyards for wine tastings
So, here's to a week of warm days, sunny beaches,
peaceful afternoons & glorious sunsets
in Pure Michigan!
